(If you’re desperate to make your brand go viral.)
- Hire attractive dancers, film it like security footage
- Give away money to strangers on camera
- Create fake before/after results
- Copy the latest trends and dances
- Cry on camera
- Film your staff making a fool of themselves
But here’s my question:
Does any of that actually serve your business?
Before chasing views, ask yourself:
- Does this tactic align with my brand identity?
- Does it provide value to my customers?
- Does it showcase what my product/service actually does?
- Will it reach the people who might actually buy from me?
The obsession with virality is misplaced.
Reality check.
- 2,000 views from your target audience > 2 million views from random scrollers
- 1,000 engaged followers build more credibility than 100,000 ghost followers
- 500 viewers who care about your message is a packed room of potential customers
Stop measuring success by vanity metrics. Start measuring by meaningful connections.
Your business doesn’t need to go viral. It needs to reach the right people.
What’s one authentic way you’re connecting with your audience this week?
